E ach year the CDC observes NIVW\, a national awareness week that focuses on the importance of getting an influenza vaccination\, especially for those with certain chronic conditions such as asthma\, diabetes and heart disea se. This year it’s is more important than ever\, especially given the po ssibility that the flu virus and the virus that causes COVID-19 will sprea d this winter.\n\n\n To do our part\, Health &\; Wellness (H&\;W) i s hosting a flu vaccine Tent Event to provide flu vaccines to retirees and their spouses/partners.\n Two “Ingredients for Health” tents will be set up—one at the H&\;W entrance\, and the other in the small parkin g lot outside H&\;W.\n Stop by either tent on Tuesday\, December 8 bet ween 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. to receive your flu vaccine.\n\nFor questions\, con tact Health &\; Wellness at 410‑771‑7609 or e‑mail Health_and_Wel lness@mccormick.com.
